The Longest Hiatus Ever

Its been more than an entire year since my last entry. Actually, this blog has been pronounced dead a long time ago. And actually, safe to say, it probably will stay dead for a long time to come.

I'm only posting here because I bought a new watch. REALLY! Another waste of money, you may ask? Actually after reading the previous entry, I realise that I love my watches. And that love has bred a desire for more complicated and expensive models. To quote Hui Yi, I'm a snob. Haha.

But I don't think I am, because everyone has their own vices am I right?

Ok, fine, let me showcase my latest acquisition: The Tag Heuer Carrera Day-Date Model

Its my first automatic, and my 2nd Tag Heuer. I even bought a pretty watch winder to wind the watch when I'm not wearing it. Since its going to be my dress watch, a watch winder was absolutely necessary.

So with reference to my previous post, I couldn't even wait till graduation to buy the Carrera. I think the Grand Carrera would be added to my collection soon.

Before you say that I'm a spendthrift, and I should save for my future, let me tell you that the "saving blitz" that I declared last year was successful. But I went one step further, and now I have a diversified 5-figure portfolio of REITs and shipping trusts, producing an 'ok' annual dividend yield.

So yes, the Carrera is an early reward for me.

But who cares? Cos even I don't visit this blog anymore.

Till my next acquisition, a VW Golf/Scirocco, Grand Carrera, Rolex Daytona or something else exorbitant to waste my money on.
