Econonmic BOOM! How long will it last?

Hello readers. Its been a long time. Procrastination is indeed the thief of time. And carelessness is the thief of my computer. Tried to install a Bluetooth driver for the Bluetooth adapter I bought to transfer stuff to my phone, ignored the installation warnings and now, I’m using the school computer to do stuff. Sad huh.

Firstly, I would like to report that the possibility if getting Fs for all my block test topics is imminent.

Secondly, I am just dying from all the work that has snowballed from last year because I was slacking the whole of last year.

On the other hand, JaneBank Pte Ltd would like to disclose an unprecedented gain in its assets and a high 35% return rate on its investments. This is due to the fact that Zultopia has gotten out of the economic slump. Yeah man.

Anyway, on last Thursday, I went to play CS. Thought I could whoop some ass. Turns out Vishnu lied to me. He doesn’t suck. He’s damn good. And when he and isyraf teamed up against me, well, you do the math. Then Edwin joined us and I was ok. I beat isyraf by 1 or 2 frags in s few maps, though I lagged behind him by the same number in others. Damn. We should have played 1.6. I need the tactical shield.

After that, we went to watch V for Vendetta. Rocks man. Smart movie. Thought Gatsby couldn’t catch the slew of V words but he could. Mwahahah. So much for underestimating his GP prowess. He got the same mark as me for paper 1! Damn.

Then on Friday,I can’t remember what I did, besides going for the LAST NTU meeting. Sad. No more cindy and Audrey. Awwww. Anyway we settled a lot of stuff during the meeting and learnt a lot. I shan’t say anymore.

Saturday was a bore, it was the day I spoilt my com.

Sunday was a day I spent at my sister’s house playing on the X-box.

Monday was another day in school. Don’t know why I was so tired, but I fell asleep at 8 and didn’t wake up till………………..

Tuesday, and I’m now here in the library typing this.

Ahhhh. What a truly meaningful life I lead huh.

At least my country is on the upswing now.

Anyway, I would like to report the ZJ Index (ZJI) has dropped 80 percentage points. The ZJI is on the verge of collapse. Perhaps the market isn't doing very well now. Let's hope this doesn't go into a full fledged recession. Otherwise, banzai measures will have to be put in place.

Predicitions of the upcoming war: We are going to suffer innumerable losses from the Bio Battle. The greater enemy, EMMFOO, is going to be satisfied with her victory. I may lose this battle, but i won't go down fighting. Must study now.

before i leave, i want to rallly all my men to fight off the EMMFOO and give her a run for her money. We will fight the EMMFOO once more in the middle of this year. And we WILL win. Till Next time EMMFOO.

I hate studying. I would think that most probably I’ve studied for like 4 hours this whole week.

My phone was perfect until I found out it takes crappy videos.

My clients are receiving unprecedented returns. The bank however, is definitely in the red. The bank manager is definitely seeing no returns. Actually that's quite alright after the fiasco the other time caused by improper declaration of profits.

I just remembered something. Joanne burps. Loudly. A girl that burps. I think that qualifies as an oxymoron. Haha.

Need to change this aspect of my life because it really is horrible.

My com is down. In school now. Performed 2 miracles today. In the morning, yes, i actually woke up during the hols, met up with Vishnu, and we RAN. Yup. RAN. Let me say this again. RAN. But a bit only lah.

Anyway, not much time to spare, so hear goes:

Ms Foo called my mother. She has the privilege of heading the 3 worst bio classes in the entire cohort, and she still has the time to hunt me down for a few tutorials. Its as if I don't have a proven track record in bio or something.

Enough about her. I promise I won't ever talk about her anymore.

Anyway, after running this morning, I took a bath in school and Hilmy used a coin to open the door, Lo and behold, Zul in the buff. That's a sight i know many of you will pay good money for.

Siemens sucks. Nokia rocks. Bought a new phone. 7370. Woot. Damn nice.

Studied damn little lah. Going to chiong from today.

No more keeping the Biz Club boat afloat man. We managed to upgrade it to a cruise ship. 40 people put us as first choice... Yeah man... I now head a 90 man crew, the "best MJ can offer." Hahaha.

I worship all you muggers out there. I actually attempted to study these past few days, but alas, it was to no avail. I slumbered peacefully whilst my mugger peers slogged through the nights. Muggers, I salute you!

My damned Siemens phone broke down, straight after its warranty expired. This is the second time. 2 words, Siemens sucks. My nokia replacement, some 6210 or 6510 (the one with the radio, blue backlight and can only send 1 sms page at a time) or whatever rocks. I probably have the only non-colour phone left in this god-forsaken school.

Anyway, I guess I was a bit insane in class today. Shouted profanities at this girl. For good reason of course. She kicked me, not 2 inches from my nether region. Dangerous. Notwithstanding that, she dirtied my uniform on its maiden use. Sorry anyway, no matter how much in the wrong you were.

CCA recruitment went well. As a leader, no matter how good or bad you are, you know when your ship is sinking. You just steer it and keep it afloat for as long as you can. I guess that’s what SS, Tat, other people I trust and I are doing. We know what will happen when we leave. We’re just keeping it afloat. Bah. I may be wrong. But not when everybody feels that there’s no one half as worthy to take the helm. Save me a lifeboat there. You never know when the time to leave draws near.

Well better attempt to study for the block tests. Its like less than 2 weeks more. Yup. I shall start NOW. I need the sleep anyway :)

Oh god. Spell coronary heart failure. Spell liver damage. Spell arteriosclerosis. Friday morning was a holiday. MJ’s results were so stellar it warranted a holiday. Yeah right. Top JCs get these kind of results for breakfast. Anyway, was scheduled to meet haiqal and isyraf to watch a movie at lido at 10.00 a.m. Well, yours truly was late because Sengkang doesn’t have any god damned taxis. I booked one but I was still late. Anyway, we missed the movie, so we decided to go seoul garden. Oh good god. HEART ATTACK.

After that, we went for Friday prayers and then we went to shaw center at Bugis to play LAN. Started off with CS, I died like so many times cos the mouse was faulty then after I changed my com, they all decided to play DOTA. Well, spell a newbie who doesn’t know how to play. I think it spells OWNAGE! Oh good god. I was thrashed.

After about an hour, isyraf had to leave for work the firdaus, faiz and another guy came. We continued with DOTA. I continued dying. Just as I thought I suck at all computer games, we played CS. I chose the bloodstrike map. OOOOOO. I thrashed them all. 150 kills to 78 (haiqal) and 60+ for firdaus’ friend. Man. Can I play CS. And it s like so cool.

We played CS 1.6. DAMN NICE! They have a tactical shield. DMAN FUNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

Haiqal and I were against Firdaus, faiz and their friend who happens to be not bad, and after we were tired of killing them over and over again, haha, I found out that I could buy a tactical shield. Whoa. Its impenetrable. Damn funny. You carry a pistol and that shield. They kept firing at me but I couldn’t die. Then when they reloaded, you shoot them in the head. Haha. Woo. And when they got smart, and started to throw grenades at us, can you imagine the carnage that haiqal and I can yield if he carries a shield, and I carry a para and shoot from behind him? Damn nice. They were like concentrating theur fire on haiqal who was in front and I was behind spraying 100 rounds of lead at them. Haha. Whoa. Not that I need 100 rounds of course. My nick isn’t ParaGod for nothing. Haha. Bah. I’m rambling. Must be because we spent 6 hours gaming.

Oooooo. My eyes.

After that I went to watch Underworld with my sis and brother in law. It was M18. So I expected something. And well I got it. Haha. You all wait till you’re 18 ok? Haha.

Anyway, thanks to all those who wished me well on Friday. Nice to have friends like all of you. That goes for members of the happy club also.

Anyway, as for today, Saturday, I did nothing. Slacked. Then went to swensens for dinner. God. HEART FAILURE. Steak, fries, banana crumble, float and pizza. OOOH. The pleasure.

Anyway, was a good birthday this year, got a nice dinner from my sis, Tommy Hilfiger cologne from my other sis, and lots of mullah from my parents. Hmmm. No time to spend it. Bloody block test.

That basically summarizes my weekend, considering Sunday will be spent studying. Yes people. I actually study. I don’t intend to copy all my life. Plus I still remember that I pu I wanted to get top 20 for bio for that stupid target thing to the bio dept. bunch of bureaucrats trying to cover their butts because they know that we’re gonna fail because of their incompetence. So when we do fail, they can show our parents and probably the principal and say, “you see, the pupil put on the paper that it was his fault, that he didn’t study enough. Its not my fault that my 3 classes are doing badly because of my inability to teach. It’s the pupils fault. Its on paper.”

Speaking of incompetence put on paper, after months of being under an incompetent leader, I finally spoke up. Or sent an e-mail to everyone regarding it to say the least. What leader did I denounce? The NTU-JC leader. I won’t say anything more, as its an internal thing, and I think that since 2 letters were written against him by me and another person, I think that no matter how hard he tries to ignore our calls for better leadership, he can’t be that deaf can he? Anyway, can’t say more. He linked my blog to his. God knows why. Didn’t bother to even ask.

Anyway, you may ask, why I’m so pissed. The competition is over. Well, its like he doesn’t want to do any work at all, just PURELY delegating it. Then he says he’s busy. Other people have to pick up the slack. I pity them. Furthermore, when you accept the role of a leader, you must know that you are a member, then a leader. You cannot just delegate and then don’t pull your weight as a member. And even though he was trying to be ONLY a leader, he even did that badly. He didn’t guide the flow of the team.

Perhaps, its his first time being a leader. Hell, we all know its hard being a leader for the first time, especially so late in your life but when people advise you to be more sensitive, to be more proactive and to be less obnoxious and to actually do a bit of work, and you ignore these people, these people are bound to get bloody pissed. I mean, if the sentiments run so deep against him, so much so that after raised my issues to him, the teachers and everyone else, and another person echoes my sentiments, surely he has to change.

Serious man. If you’re reading this, change for the better. Ever wondered why your link list is made up of mostly NTU-JC challenge people? Change for the better. Yes sometimes you have to be evil for the sake of the team, but you always do it for the team. Never delegate out work just because you don’t want to do it. And remember, that the leader is always the first one to be there and the last to leave.

You should have never taken up the responsibility if you’ve never intended to uphold it. You only just tarnished your reputation. That’s why other people in the group, those strong leaders didn’t volunteer. Cos they knew that they would be too swamped. Were you too swamped? I don’t think so. Others and even I saw you.

Please. Change for the better. And be more polite. Do not anyhow just link people without asking them first. Seriously.
