Lip Service

Sorry for the lack of updates. Been kinda busy lately.

Finance news:

I've come to terms with my portfolio disaster. Pumed in 1k fresh capital to lower down average costs and take advantage of current economic downturn.

The biggest automobile scam (CDC) has currently swallowed 2k+ of my cash. Hope they actually will give me a license at the end of their con.

I've sunked further in debt as the fiscal responsiblities of driving and the need for fresh capital for DCA in my unit trusts over this short period has made me a borrower from the Ma-Pa bank. Thank god its no interest.

Can't afford to lose my tuition clients.

Will be debt free and hopefully have a return of -28% on my portfolio by Jun and a return of 25% by next Feb.

"Why do you invest if its so risky?", my colleaguge asked, citing the fact that he didn't make any money, but he didn't lose a single cent either. My answer is, yes I did come in at the wrong time, but in the long term of 3-5 yrs, that cash will make more money than your fixed deposit can make in 20 years. And my injection of fresh capital in this current recession which ended a bull cycle all so suddenly will yield far better returns of about 20-45% in 2 yrs or less. So laugh, make fun now, but when I'm driving my Audi R8 past your house in 25 yrs time, I''ll make sure I'll horn real loud, ok?

Oh, and READER BEWARE!

Cycling is fucking dangerous if you're a fat sod who goes speeding at 12 a.m. on a weekday night without replacing the flat batteries in your headlight.

As the TP says: SPEEDING KILLS, DON'T PAY THE PRICE

What was my price for my moment of folly:

6 stitches on my upper lip, my $600 specs split into two and damage to the front suspension on my GT.

Thank god I didn't break any teeth and that my medical is covered under SCDF.

Lol. Cooked up an excuse that I fell while running at night around my estate to my mother, so she wouldn't ask any questions. She still doesn't know about the bike. LOL.

But seriously, the 2 weeks after the incident, I was damn scared of cycling. Cycled like a scared girl on training wheels.

But as Isyraf says, "Every fall makes you a better rider."

This wasn't a fall its a collision, but anyways that's not the point. haha. The point is today I went to Ubin again with Muhd. Fucking fun. Speeding down the gravel trails, climbing up never ending hills then speeding down a rocky path, with no helmet, has restored my confidence in my skills.

Long live my Aggressor and most of all my lips, which have since completely healed after 5 weeks without any visble scarring.

Yay!

Going Ubin next Sat / Sun. Anyone wants to follow? You must be a beginner so you don't leave me behind, haha. But not so green until you can't do a downhill gravel.

Sorry la for the fragmented update, but I'm pressed for time. See you guys next time.
