Out-of -Context

A simple conversation with one of my students (not their real names):

"So, Emma, you missed me the other day," I said, " Are we going to make it up?"

"Um, you said you weren't going to camp on National Day?" Emma replied.

"Oh, ya, I forgot.. So I do you in the morning?" I asked in turn.

"Uh, ya. 11.30?" she replied sheepishly.

"That's not morning.." I laugh."So how about Melissa?"

"Oh, Melissa and I were discussing. We want to do it together at the same time. While you're with Melissa, I do something else." she suggested.

"But that won't be very good. Can you last 4 hours? I think its best if I do each of you separately."

"Ok. See you thursday then. Good night." she replied and I made my way out of her house.

You know what I've learnt from recently? Anything taken out of context can look really bad. And no, I'm no pervert. I just have to word my sentences properly from now on, lest I continue this till I start real work, I'll have to pay a fortune in sexual harrassment suits. Haha.
